Job Description
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating various equipment in their area of operation, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the equipment and surrounding areas. They may be required to operate machines such as dumpers and/or forklifts in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate various equipment in the area of operation.
- Perform assigned routines, following written procedures.
- Ensure good coordination with other operators and maintenance teams.
- Clean and disinfect machines and materials according to the Hygiene Plan.
- Report any incidents that may affect worker safety, environmental protection, or food safety.
- Promote a culture of excellence in Quality, Environment, and Safety, ensuring compliance with QAS system policies and procedures.
- Guarantee the production of
- quality, safe, and authentic products. - Comply with personal and workplace hygiene and safety standards.
- Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, and Food Defense norms, policies, and requirements.
- Promote a culture of Quality, Food Safety, Workplace Safety, Environment, and Sustainability, ensuring product and process requirements are met.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
Competencies and Knowledge
- Responsible and dedicated.
- Punctual and available to work shifts.
- Proactive and dynamic.
- Able to interpret
- related signs, symbols, and codes. - Knowledge of workplace hygiene and safety, quality, and continuous improvement (preferred).
- English language skills (preferred).
Professional Experience
- Prior experience operating machines.
Qualifications
- 12th grade
- professional course (preferred). - Driver’s license.
