Nadara is actively seeking candidates for the O&M Technician role to perform operations and maintenance tasks in Lousã, Senhora da Vitória and Lomba da Seixa (GE 1. 5 wind turbines), including retrofits and updates at the parks.
Job Description
O&M Technician will perform O&M tasks at designated wind parks, including retrofits and updates to the parks.
Key responsibilities and Authorities
- Preventive tasks in accordance with O&M manuals.
- Troubleshooting tasks.
- Retrofit.
- Support for
- altitude repairs (uptower). - Support in replacing main components.
- Ensure turbines operate correctly and utilize condition monitoring and remote control systems.
- Maintain an efficient service vehicle and a
- stocked warehouse, ordering materials, tools and spare parts as needed. - Work to the highest safety and environmental standards, ensuring service targets are met.
- Comply with HSE rules and procedures.

Education And Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical and hydraulic areas.
- Experience in electrical areas.
- Secondary education with experience in technical areas (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanical, etc. ) is desirable. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be valued.
- Work permit for the country is mandatory.
- Driver's license.
- MS Office suite.
- AT Certification (UK only).
- GWO.
- Experience with GE turbines (1. 5 and 2. 5).
Travel Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel to different parks in Portugal as required, including weekend and holiday work.
