Overview
stow is one of the leading suppliers of storage solutions. Our core activity is the development, manufacturing and installation of
- quality racking systems for the storage of palletized or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures.
Job Location
Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will check requisitions lists, submit purchase orders and actively
- up the supply chain flow to ensure delivery lead times.
Responsibilities
- Check list of requisitions for materials and timely place purchase orders according to centrally outlined category strategy, supplier selection and pricing
- Liaise with Transport Planners and provide the necessary information to organize transports
- Actively
- up the supply chain flow and scheduled deliveries to assure lead times (key point) - Anticipate or delay purchase orders based on priorities and planning revisions
- Internally report constraints to adjust planning and submit supplier complaints
- Maintain a close relation with suppliers and provide inputs on supplier performance (delivery, quality, etc. ) to central category managers for regular supplier evaluation
- Solve potential invoice blocks due to quantity or price discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Solid English language skills, both verbal and written
- User-level knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and SAP
- Proactive, autonomous, able to act in a
- moving environment - Resident in Ovar or nearby area
