About The Job

• Contributes to the implementation of the Operational Risk and Permanent Control Framework in BNP Paribas CIB activities by supervising the 1st line of Defense through independent testing, quality review of historical incidents, and reporting.

Your Main Activities Are

• Support the definition and deployment of the 2nd line of defense control plan: understand key risks and identify first line controls to verify/re-perform.
• Execute control plan: verify and/or
  - perform controls executed by the first line to ensure effectiveness.
• Contribute to dashboards and reports on control results.
• Support the definition of remediation actions in collaboration with the first line and central 2nd line, based on control plan results.
• Perform quality review of historical incidents: challenge incident descriptions and remediation plans, and contribute to reports and dashboards.
• Communicate, alert, and escalate attention points to RISK ORM CIB teams.
• Focus on harmonization, improvement, and automation of controlled processes: propose changes and participate or lead innovation projects.
• Work in coordination with RISK ORM CIB and 1st line of Defense CIB teams.
• Contribute to Operational Risk awareness across BNP Paribas CIB teams.

• Masters in Economics, Finance, and Accounting
• Banking and Financial Operations (5-7 years)
