We are seeking an Operational Technology Cyber Security Team Leader (m/f/d) to join our team!

- user and device management, and leading efforts to protect systems and data from vulnerabilities.

Our IT Division (Group Information Technology) is looking for an OT Cyber Security Team Leader based in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.

Your main mission is to manage the internal OT Cyber Security team to safeguard critical infrastructure and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), ensuring their secure operation within FORVIA’s OT Security Team.

You will oversee projects, daily operations, and processes, ensuring team responsiveness and efficiency.

Main responsibilities include:

• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security testing.
• Analyze system architecture, network traffic, and logs to identify weaknesses.
• Implement security controls and develop incident response plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with teams to design secure system architectures for critical infrastructure.
• Support the implementation of security measures like intrusion detection systems.
• Maintain reliable security operations in OT/ICS environments.
• Support in mitigating and resolving security incidents promptly.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Extended knowledge of current network and cybersecurity standards and technologies, including firewall virtualization.
• Knowledge of IT/OT cybersecurity standards and tools (ISO, etc. ) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (e. g. , Modbus, DNP3, OPC).
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and PLCs.
• Strong understanding of OT systems, ICS, and their security needs.
• Awareness of the current threat landscape and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience in building and operating security systems.

• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Passion for cybersecurity and OT.
• Motivated to work with international IT teams.
• Stress tolerance, methodology, rigor.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
