Job Overview

This position is responsible for executing the production of our products ensuring the delivery of orders in accordance with our specifications.

This Operations Associate role reports to the Operations Area Coordinator.

Main Goals

- Ensure our work orders are produced appropriately and on time;

- Follow the Weekly Production Planning;

- Produce/Pack products to meet quality & safety standards; and

- Assist in equipment repairs with the maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (mixers, packing machines, freezing tunnel, industrial cutter) safely & efficiently;
• Weigh and prepare materials according to recipes;
• Assemble boxes for product packaging;
• Prepare & customize client/customer orders;
• Conduct quality checks;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace;
• Follow Safety and HACCP guidelines;
• Respect the Weekly Plan from the Area Leader;
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices;
• Report production issues to leaders;
• Perform maintenance tasks as needed; and
• Any other tasks as requested.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to handle up to 25kg bags;
• No physical limitations;
• Able to safely operate manual pallet jacks; and
• Availability to work shifts (including nights & weekends during peak periods).

Experience You Bring

- Technical professional course (Level 4 - EQF) in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Electronics;

- 1–2 years of experience working with packing machines;

- Knowledge of GMP & HACCP;

- Ability to interpret production schedules and manage changeovers;

- Experience with manufacturing operations (electronic settings, line control, troubleshooting, etc. );

- Familiarity with preventive maintenance; and

- Strong communication in Portuguese & English.
