Operations Engineer (AWS) Porto

Randstad Digital is recruiting a Operations Engineer (AWS) for a company located in Porto.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the product safely and securely on behalf of our customers, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service in collaboration with the Dev
  Ops Engineers;
• Perform system updates and modifications to system configurations on behalf of customers and other stakeholders;
• Respond to system incidents, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to restore services;
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on system status and changes;
• Collaborate within the Operations team, and cooperate with the Support and Dev
  Ops teams, to answer questions and troubleshoot problems;
• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools;
• Monitor and enforce security policies and procedures;
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations;
• Coach team members and coordinate team efforts together with the Support and Operations Manager;
• Regularly be part of 24/7
  - call rotation.

Requirements:

• Experience with system administration, network management, and infrastructure design;
• Proficiency in the command line (Linux) and scripting skills (Python, bash);
• Experience with Ia
  C tools (e. g. , Terraform);
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and virtualization management platforms (e. g. , o
  Virt);
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Loki, Zabbix;
• Analytical and
  - solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues;
• Ability to quickly assess and resolve operational challenges;
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interact effectively with other teams and be a team player;
• Curiosity and interest in innovation and technology;
• Experience working in a modern agile software Engineering environment.
