To support our next phase of growth, we’re hiring a
- on leader to run and grow our Data Curation & Operations team based in Lisbon, one of our
- growing locations.

This is more than a data quality role. It combines team building, operational strategy, and structured data oversight. You will also serve as the most senior local presence in Lisbon, helping shape and scale our global data engine.

About the Data Curation Team

Our Data Curation team ensures
- tier data quality through meticulous curation, desk research, classification, content review, and moderation. As the Team Lead Data Quality, you will serve as the local leader in Lisbon, responsible for the
-
- day management and development of the Data Curation team. You will also lead remote teams across different time zones (Americas, Asia) and work closely with our Amsterdam-based Head of Research Operations, Head of People, Support team, and COO. This role will involve
- on team leadership, operational efficiency, and continuous process scaling.

What You’ll Own

• Build and lead a growing Lisbon-based team responsible for structured data curation, research, and quality assurance
• Manage team performance, daily workflows, onboarding, and
  - term development
• Foster a collaborative and
  - performance culture across global locations, including remote teams in Asia and the Americas
• Ensure scalable and efficient processes for curating and maintaining structured data
• Prioritise effectively across incoming requests, balancing quality, speed, and available resources
• Act as the local point of coordination with HQ and
  - functional teams

Process and Quality Oversight

• Improve data taxonomy, QA workflows, and tooling for
  - term scalability
• Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and OKRs to drive team success
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Research teams to maintain high standards of quality
• Represent Dealroom in Lisbon as the
  - most team member
• Contribute to hiring, local culture, and operations
• Identify opportunities to grow our presence locally, from partnerships to employer branding

Must-haves

• 5 to 8 years of experience in data operations, content operations, research operations, or a similar field (especially in Saa
  S, marketplaces, or information services)
• 2 or more years managing teams, including hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Proven experience working with structured data at scale, including quality frameworks and operational processes
• Ability to manage priorities, allocate resources, and lead
  - functional projects
• Strong communication skills across different cultures and time zones
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and
  - paced environments (Start up experience is a must!)
• Big interest in the startup ecosystem or venture capital landscape

• Familiarity with SQL or Big
  Query
• Background working with content taxonomies or classification systems
