Right now, we are looking for a Operations Technician 24x7 to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon.
Your responsibilities include:
- Monitor alerts generated by monitoring tools in real time (e. G. , Zabbix, Nagios, etc. );
- Identify and log incidents and anomalies in customer services or internal infrastructure.
- Register occurrences in ITSM platforms (e. G. , Service
Now, Easy
Vista); - Classify and prioritize incidents according to their impact on the service.
- Check backups, link statuses, scheduled jobs, disk usage, among others;
- Follow procedures defined in runbooks and knowledge bases.
- Respond to initial alerts and calls, providing basic support or escalating to specialized teams;
- Interact with internal teams and, when necessary, with customers, in a clear and professional manner.
- Trigger the escalation chain in critical cases, following defined SLAs;
- Support internal communication during

You must have:
- Technical-professional course, CET, or a degree in areas such as Networks, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, etc. ;
- Understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows Server).
- Ability to monitor and respond to alerts(e. G. , Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG) is valued, even in academic/laboratory settings).
- Availability for 24/7 shift work
- Attention to detail and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Fluency in Portuguese and technical English knowledge (minimum level B2).
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in a NOC or Service Desk environment;
- Even if gained through an internship or academic setting. Relevant technical certifications (e. G. , Comp
TIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, Cisco CCNA, Linux Essentials, MTA, etc. ); - Knowledge of backup and storage;
- Basic understanding of tools such as Avamar, PPDM, Veeam, or similar;
- Experience with
Linux and Windows Server operating systems; - Basic commands, troubleshooting, services, and user management;
- Ability to readand interpret logs and alerts;
- Basic failure and event diagnostics;
- Basic scriptingskills (introductory knowledge of Bash, Power
Shell, or Python for simple automations); - Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Essential in environments with multiple alerts and concurrent tasks.
