We are now looking for an IT Administrator – Oracle Database Technical Specialist willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid project based in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage system enhancement initiatives from technical requirements gathering to implementation
• Administer Oracle databases (12c/19c), ensuring performance, scalability and reliability
• Troubleshoot live system issues (performance bottlenecks, high resource usage, etc. )
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for recurring incidents
• Optimize queries, indexes and database structures for performance improvement
• Support global teams and manage
  - site coordination (Portugal, US, India)
• Monitor infrastructure: storage, logs, backups, and network health
• Conduct backup/recovery, user access management, patching and ETL activities
• Document and improve processes, ensuring consistency and alignment with standards

Technical Profile:

• 5+ years as Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle 12c/19c
• Strong experience in index tuning, query optimization, and database performance troubleshooting
• Experience in database lifecycle management, including data purging and automation
• Knowledge of Postgre
  SQL or MS SQL is a plus
• Experience in infrastructure planning and implementation is valued
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
