Oracle Database Administrator
Forte Group is looking for a Oracle Database Administrator.
About the Role: Maintaining and optimizing internal database environments, reviewing DB related approaches designed by the application
- house developers, troubleshoot complex performance issues across multiple database platforms.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Perform advanced database performance tuning and optimization across Oracle, Postgre
SQL, MSSQL, and SYBASE environments - Provide
- level support and guidance to internal DBA teams and external clients - Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of database systems
- Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable and efficient database solutions
- As part of R&D team, analyze new features and new databases, how it can be implemented in our software product
- Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures and FAQ
We expect you to have:
- Significant
- on experience as a Database Administrator, with a solid focus on Oracle - Proficiency in Postgre
SQL, MSSQL, SYBASE, Maria
DB, and My
SQL - Strong SQL scripting and query optimization skills
- Proven experience in performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Good soft skills and a strong commitment to teamwork in a
- paced environment - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is considered a plus
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation frameworks is considered a plus
