Project
The person in this role will perform level three support to all databases and respective servers used by the
Custody department. Ensure best practices are in place from development to production. Constantcoordination and discussion within house or
- party developers for upcoming developments and ongoingimprovement opportunities.
Role
- Gather and document technical requirements for system enhancements and updates.
- Drive the change request process for system updates, ensuring alignment with business and technicalneeds.
- Lead technical testing efforts to validate changes and ensure smooth production deployment.
- Own and execute assigned initiatives, from launch through to completion, while tracking progress.
- Monitor and adhere to project deadlines, proactively escalating risks or delays.
- Identify system gaps, inefficiencies, or weaknesses, and propose actionable improvements.
- Enforce and communicate project standards, ensuring consistency across deliverables.
- Prioritize and manage assigned projects independently, taking full ownership of tasks and outcomes.
- Liaise with stakeholders (e. g. , business teams, developers, vendors) and provide timely status updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues

We are looking for
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), with
- on expertise in Oracle12c/19c (required). - Experience with other database systems (e. g. , Postgre
SQL, MS SQL) is a plus. - Performance optimization skills: Proven ability in index tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting database performance issues.
- Database lifecycle management: Experience with data cleanup, historical data purging, and automation.
- Analytical and creative
- solving: Ability to assess change requests, issues, or challenges, propose solutions, and translate technical concepts into schematics, diagrams, or documentation for discussions and reporting. - IT infrastructure involvement: Contribute to planning, sizing, and implementation of IT projects.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (required).
