Job Description

The role involves Level 3 support for all databases and servers used by the Custody department, ensuring best practices from development to production. Responsibilities include coordination with internal and external developers for new developments and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

Projects

• Gather and document technical requirements for system enhancements.
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Lead technical testing and validate changes before deployment.
• Execute initiatives from start to finish, tracking progress and deadlines.
• Identify system gaps and propose improvements.
• Communicate project standards and liaise with stakeholders.

Database Support

• Troubleshoot live system issues (performance bottlenecks, CPU/memory usage, query tuning).
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Manage application databases: installation, patching, ETL processes, and custom reports.
• Perform routine DBA tasks: backups, recovery, user access, security, and proactive tuning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DBA with expertise in Oracle 12c/19c (required).
• Knowledge of Postgre
  SQL and MS SQL (plus).
• Strong skills in performance optimization (index tuning, query optimization).
• Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and create technical documentation.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
