The Role

As an Out
Systems Architect, you will be a key player in designing, architecting, and overseeing the development of scalable, secure, and
- performance solutions on the Out
Systems platform. You will also be searching for
- edge technologies to promote business innovation. This role requires deep technical expertise, a solid understanding of Out
Systems capabilities, security and integration standards.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Design & Development

• Develop and maintain the architectural blueprint of Out
  Systems ecosystem.
• Define technical requirements, integrations, and best practices to create scalable and maintainable Out
  Systems applications.
• Lead the design of application modules, APIs, domains and service architectures, for optimal application performance, security and reusability.
• Advise and collaborate on infrastructure architecture.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical oversight and guidance to development teams, ensuring that solutions align with architectural standards.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews, maintaining high standards for performance, scalability, security and reutilization.
• Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, deployment, and operations in the Out
  Systems environment.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust Out
  Systems roadmap.
• Participate in planning and scoping sessions to assess feasibility and provide input on technical direction and effort estimation.
• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to define a coherent user experience.
• Onboard new development team members.
• Work closely with the remaining Enterprise Architecture team, to define and evolve a solid Enterprise Architecture vision.

Solution Governance & Quality Assurance

• Define and enforce the technical governance models for Out
  Systems development teams, aligned with the remaining IT delivery methodology.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Propose and lead performance, security and other technical assessments according to business roadmap.
• Promote adequate QA practices, including the regular use of Out
  Systems verification tools, and ensure the testing environments have the required data to support them.
• Promote proactive performance monitoring and availability and provide recommendations for improvements.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with Out
  Systems features, platform updates, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Introduce automation, Dev
  Ops practices, and CI/CD pipelines to optimize the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Plan and lead technical Po
  Cs and projects to keep the platform updated with minimum technical dept.
• Mentor and train development teams on advanced Out
  Systems capabilities, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Available to go to Dubai for one month at a time. Balanced time between Portugal and Dubai.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture and development, with at least 4 years in Out
  Systems.
• Proven expertise in Out
  Systems, application design, and development best practices.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, API integration, domain driven, event driven and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration frameworks (ex:
  
  TOGAF) and technologies
• Proven ability to define architecture and development patterns that ensure high availability, performance under high concurrency, and efficient handling of large data volumes.
• Proficiency in Agile Methodologies and supporting tools
• Good understanding on security frameworks and how to implement them in Out
  Systems
• Proficiency in Java
  Script, SQL, web technologies (HTML/CSS) and. Net
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (ex:
  
  AWS, Azure) and
  - premises infrastructure architectures.
• Experience with Out
  Systems mobile development, including native plugins and offline data synchronization patterns
• Familiarity with BDD, Dev
  Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and
  - technical stakeholders.
