Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering solutions using the Outsystems low‑code platform.
- Proven track record in architecting and implementing enterprise‑grade Outsystems applications across multiple domains.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, asynchronous processing, and enterprise security protocols.
- Experience with cloud‑native architecture and deployment models (e. g. , Azure, AWS, Outsystems Cloud).
- Strong familiarity with Dev
Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization techniques. - Outsystems Architecture or Professional certification is mandatory.
- Ability to translate operational issues and business needs into stable, long‑term technical solutions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical details to both IT and business audiences.
- Proactive identification and mitigation of technical and operational risks in the "Run" environment.
- Demonstrates the ability to align architectural decisions with long‑term business objectives, ensuring that technical solutions support scalability, agility, and innovation across the enterprise.
- Proven track record of leading cross‑functional technical teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring developers to elevate overall delivery quality and platform maturity.
- Exceptional analytical skills to diagnose complex architectural challenges, identify root causes, and design effective, sustainable solutions that balance performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making and stakeholder buy‑in.
- Define architecture standards aligned with organizational goals, ensuring scalability, consistency, and governance.
- Design reusable and scalable components, optimizing performance and maintaining best practices in coding and documentation.
- Lead solution design sessions, translating business requirements into feasible technical architectures.
- Establish Outsystems development guidelines and governance models, ensuring quality and consistency across all applications.
- Evaluate new platform features and recommend adoption strategies, including pilots and integration plans.
- Ensure compliance with infrastructure and security policies, aligning architecture with enterprise standards and regulations.
- Mentor technical teams, promoting best practices, architectural principles, and effective platform usage.
- Review code and design artifacts, ensuring adherence to standards and recommending improvements.
- Act as a technical escalation point, resolving complex issues and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
- Communicate architectural decisions and develop solution roadmaps, aligning with business objectives and supporting strategic discussions or pre‑sales activities.
