Outsystems Tech Lead (Lisbon)

We are seeking an experienced and certified Out
Systems Tech Lead to provide technical direction, architectural oversight, and
- on development for our most complex
- code projects. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices (e. G. , Clean Architecture, SOLID principles).

This role is ideal for a Senior Developer ready to step up into a leadership and mentorship position.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Serve as the technical authority on one or more Out
  Systems project teams, guiding design and implementation decisions.
• Define and enforce best practices for Out
  Systems development, including performance optimization, security, and component reusability across the factory.
• Review and approve architectural designs, ensuring scalability and adherence to company standards and Out
  Systems best practices.
• Provide deep,
  - on technical expertise to solve complex development challenges.
• Code Quality and Delivery
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and implement quality gates to ensure high code quality, maintainability, and security.
• Drive the adoption of modern Dev
  Ops practices, including automated testing, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) within the Out
  Systems environment.
• Work closely with the Project Manager/Scrum Master to estimate effort, plan sprints, and manage technical debt.
• Mentorship and Team Growth
• Mentor and coach junior and
  - level Out
  Systems Developers, fostering technical growth and sharing knowledge of advanced platform features.
• Document technical specifications, architectural decisions, and development guidelines for the team.
• Stay current with the latest Out
  Systems platform features, Forge components, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years of
  - on experience developing complex applications using the Out
  Systems platform.
• Valued Certification: Out
  Systems Professional Developer or higher (Associate Tech Lead or Tech Lead is a significant advantage).
• Proven experience in designing
  - grade solutions (e. G. , integrating with external systems, microservices architecture).
• Solid understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java
  Script) and database design (SQL).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
