- end ownership, task coordination, and managing relationships with network partners and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What You Will Do
1. Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve faults across a
- European MPLS infrastructure and a range of IP services, ensuring SLAs are met.
2. Act as the single point of contact for customers, providing clear updates and professional support.
3. Work closely with vendors, field engineers, and 3rd-level support teams to manage escalations and complex issues.
4. Maintain accurate incident records and generate technical reports when required.
5. Identify and implement solutions to recurring problems in Packet & SDN networks.
6. Support software upgrades in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
7. Participate in a 24 / 7 shift pattern to ensure

- clock support for our customers.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Engineer with expertise in Layer 1, 2, and 3 services and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent
- solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.
- Understanding of IP Fundamentals and various Protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS.
- Working experience with implementing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting IP Access, MPLS, and VPN solutions across a
- European network. - Understanding of provisioning and maintaining IP, Ethernet, and Optical services across Backbone Networks.
- Experience with UNIX-based applications and troubleshooting tools such as Telnet, FTP, TFTP, Traceroute.
- Experience with Network Management and Support systems like Netcool, SMARTS, Cisco
Works, Info
Vista, TACACS, or Vendor Specific Element Managers. - Industry experience working with global network providers, NOCs, and field support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Troubleshooting & Ownership :
A team player who thrives in a
- paced environment, takes full ownership of issues, and collaborates effectively to resolve them.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear, professional, and
- oriented communication, both written and verbal. - Technical certifications such as CCNP, CCSP, CCNA, or similar are highly desirable.
