Why this job is important
As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services across Southern Europe. You’ll be the link between our people and the systems that support them, helping ensure every colleague is paid correctly and on time. Your work will directly impact employee experience and operational efficiency, making you an essential part of our success.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage outsourced payroll processes for Italy and Portugal, ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal policies.
- Provide payroll support for Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark) when needed.
- Liaise with
- party payroll providers, internal teams, and local authorities to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations. - Prepare and validate payroll inputs and outputs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and respond to
- related tickets via Service
Now, meeting service level agreements.
The skills & experience needed Payroll Administrator
- At least 2 years of experience in European payroll administration, with essential knowledge of Portugal and Italy.
- Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Italian is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with systems like Sage, ADP, Quick
Books, Xero, or SAP. - Experience with Workday and Service
Now is a plus. - Ability to work independently in a
- paced, evolving environment.
