Overview

We are looking for an experienced People Operations Manager / Team Lead to join our global People
Ops function. This role will manage a small but
- impact team (up to 5 direct reports next year) and drive complex People
Ops projects

- end. It combines strategic program management with
- on execution across global HR operations, employee lifecycle, and
- border compliance. You will both lead and build, stepping in to replace a current team lead while taking ownership of key global projects that require urgency and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a People
  Ops team of up to five members
• Own and deliver
  - priority People
  Ops projects (e. g. , compensation frameworks, EOR transitions, compliance rollouts, HRIS optimization)
• Act as a
  - matter expert on global mobility, immigration, and compliance
• Partner with business leaders, finance, and legal on complex
  - border employment and contractor conversions
• Build scalable processes, policies, and tools to support rapid company growth
• Anticipate compliance risks and proactively design mitigation plans
• Drive continuous improvement in employee experience, data accuracy, and process efficiency
• Be a
  - on problem solver in a
  - growth startup environment

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in People
  Ops/HR, with at least 1+ year in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing People
  Ops/HR teams in
  - growing startups or
  - ups
• Deep expertise in global mobility, relocation, immigration, and compliance in Europe
• Strong knowledge of
  - border employment structures (entities, EOR, contractors, conversions)
• Track record of leading complex,
  - stakeholder projects under tight timelines
• Highly adaptive; thrives in changing environments and can pivot priorities while maintaining execution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cultures and time zones
• Fluent in Russian and English
