Veeam Quality Assurance Team – Lisbon R&D Office

Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance and load tests to assess our platform’s robustness.
• Identify performance bugs and system bottlenecks, and analyze test results.
• Maintain the testing framework and infrastructure.
• Deep‑dive into Veeam products, technologies, and professional practices.

What We Expect From You

• A technical education or a passion for technology (final‑year students welcome).
• Familiarity with major OS components: CPU, disk, RAM, network.
• Understanding of web protocols: HTTP, REST API.
• Foundational virtualization knowledge (VMs, containers).
• A lively, flexible mind and clear logic.
• Desire to develop yourself in performance and load testing.
• English proficiency for daily communication within international teams.

Will Be an Advantage

• Previous use of performance/load tools (JMeter, Locust).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V) or cloud services (Azure, AWS).
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Git
  Lab CI, Team
  City, pipeline work).
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power
  Shell).
• Knowledge of automated frameworks such as Pytest.
• Dev
  Ops experience (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, Nats).
• Experience in observability systems (Grafana, Elastic).
• Multicomponent software troubleshooting skills: reading logs, analyzing component interactions, identifying patterns.
