We are seeking a Petfood Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the pet nutrition market. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone to take ownership of a
- potential segment and learn from experienced commercial leaders.

Your focus will be on building relationships with customers and distributors, managing sales pipelines, and supporting our petfood

- market strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Market Engagement & Sales Execution:
   • Identify and engage prospective customers in the petfood industry.
   • Support converting leads into partnerships, from initial contact to deal closure.
   • Prepare and deliver product presentations and samples, with technical support from internal teams.
2. Customer Success & Relationship Management:
   • Build lasting relationships by understanding customer needs and advocating for them internally.
   • Ensure smooth onboarding and satisfaction
     - sale, in collaboration with operations and technical teams.
3. Market & Competitive Intelligence:
   • Research industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to inform Micro
     Harvest’s petfood positioning.
   • Provide insights for pricing, product development, and marketing strategies.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in petfood sales, preferably with an existing network.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a
  - first approach.
• Ability to understand technical products and translate them into business value.
• Proactive,
  - starting, and capable of thriving in a
  - paced startup environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel (~20–30%), including outside Europe.
