Responsibilities

• Support the modernization and migration of existing legacy PHP 5 systems;
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to develop and implement scalable solutions;
• Contribute to improving the system’s architecture, applying microservices principles;
• Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets business requirements;
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and system optimization.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in software development, preferably with PHP and OOP principles;
• Good understanding of APIs, microservices, and modern Java
  Script frameworks (ideally Angular);
• Solid experience with SQL (My
  SQL or SQL Server), Git, and Maven;
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and agile methodologies;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Nice to Have

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to code quality;
• A proactive and collaborative mindset with great communication skills;
• Comfort working in hybrid models (typically 50/50, adaptable based on location);
• Willingness to work on transformation and migration of legacy environments;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
