Plant Procurement Lead
We are seeking a driven and experienced Plants Procurement Lead, Europe & Africa, Group Non Fish & Indirect Procurement, to strengthen Thai Union’s procurement excellence across our European manufacturing sites.
This is a newly created role with high visibility and impact, designed to integrate, standardize, and elevate procurement practices across our plants — including Poland, Portugal, Germany, France, Ghana, Seychelles, and Lithuania.

The role reports to the Head of Non Fish Procurement, Europe & Africa. The role can be based in either Gniewino, Poland or Peniche, Portugal.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead integration and coordination of local procurement teams across multiple plants in Europe and Africa
- Oversee both direct and indirect reporting lines, managing and supporting local Heads of Procurement and their teams across the plants.
- Implement and enforce procurement policies and compliance procedures across sites, ensuring adherence to global standards.
- Drive standardization of procurement processes and tools across plants to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency.
- Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities through supplier consolidation, spend bundling, and S2P process optimization.
- Support indirect procurement development — implement processes, stakeholder engagement, and supplier management frameworks.
- Support Supplier performance in the plants to drive supply chain and cost efficiencies
- Coordinate CAPEX procurement activities, ensuring compliance and cost control.
- Foster collaboration between plant teams and central/global procurement functions to align goals and share best practices.

About You:
- Proven experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain within a multinational or
- plant environment. - People management experience
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge local and global perspectives.
- Demonstrated success in driving change and standardizing processes.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel;
- driven and analytical mindset. - Excellent command of English;
other European languages are an advantage. - Comfortable working with ambiguity and influencing without direct authority.
- Assertive yet collaborative, with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Culturally sensitive and adaptable across multiple European sites.
