Platform Engineer Lisboa

Overview

Mission Platform Development and Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and
- performance platform solutions using Kubernetes and other relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Dev
  Ops and CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software development and deployment, ensuring efficient automation and integration practices.
• Observability and Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Kibana/Grafana, ensuring continuous visibility into system performance and health.
• Systems Administration: Manage and maintain the operational health of production and development systems, with a focus on automation and stability.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain bash scripts and other automation tools to improve processes and optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with
  - functional teams, including development, operations, and project managers, to ensure platform stability and project success.
• Documentation: Use Jira and Confluence to record the status of deliveries and respective technical documentation.
• Problem Resolution and Incident Response: Lead efforts to resolve issues related to the platform and conduct resolutions efficiently, contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Significant experience in Dev
  Ops and Observability practices and tools.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience in systems administration (preferably in Linux environments).
• Good knowledge of bash scripting for process automation and optimization.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
