Emagine is currently looking for a Platform Engineer (Senior) to join a
- term assignment in Porto.

The selected professional will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing containerized environments, automating infrastructure, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple production systems.

Your main responsibilities:

- Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators, including deployment, monitoring, and operations.

- Engage in development tasks using Go or Python.

- Automate all aspects of cloud infrastructure and incident response.

- Contribute to the
- healing capabilities of enterprise applications.

- Develop playbooks for actionable alerts to improve operational response.

- Perform container orchestration with Kubernetes and enhance deployment pipelines.

- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

- Maintain and evolve Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) to manage lifecycle operations (monitoring, alerting, security, cost optimization, configuration, backups).

- Collaborate in CI/CD initiatives and apply Git
Ops methodologies.

- Support and optimize production environments across
- cloud infrastructures.

- Contribute to projects involving Generative AI (Gen
AI) tools and integrations.

You bring:

- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, Dev
Ops, or platform engineering.

- Proficiency in Go and/or Python programming.

- Strong experience with Kubernetes (CKA or Open
Shift certification required).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Git
Hub Actions, Argo CD, or similar).

- Knowledge of Cloud Providers — ideally Azure or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) using Terraform and Crossplane.

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana.

- Solid understanding of Linux environments.

- Excellent communication and
- solving skills.

- Fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus).

- Location: Maia, Portugal

- Work model: Hybrid (2x office per week)
