PLC Programmer (relocation to the Netherlands)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PLC Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience in industrial automation. In this role, you will help design, implement, and maintain PLC control systems that support advanced robotic packaging and automation solutions. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure
- quality, reliable automation for our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure PLC software using Siemens TIA Portal for automated packaging machinery.
• Program and commission PLC systems for robotic palletizers, case packers, and other automated packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing control programs, hardware, and I/O systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on new machine designs and retrofits.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including ladder logic, system architecture diagrams, and diagnostic guides.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities at client sites.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reliability, and safety of automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar.
• ~2 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Practical experience with Siemens TIA Portal .
• Solid understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and electrical schematics.
• Good
  - solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically for commissioning and support activities.
