Key Responsibilities

Airbus has a strong European heritage and is now truly international, with roughly 180 locations and 12, 000 suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and has seen a more than sixfold increase in its order book since 2000.

Position Summary:

A vacancy for a PMO supporting PIA Executive Management has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft). You will join the PIA team in Procurement Operations Aerostructures (PIA), supporting the PIA commodity's Executive Assistant. Your role involves coordinating procurement activities across projects and departments, acting as a governance body and operational support unit to optimize value. You will work closely with the PIA community, including stakeholders from PS, PIM, VSM, Programmes, and others involved in commercial programmes such as A320, A330, A350, A220, and A400M.

Your responsibilities include gaining an overview of the procurement supply chain, supporting operational needs mainly through communication and stakeholder alignment.

Essential Functions

• Procurement Oversight & Governance: Support PIA governance activities, organize and prepare meetings/Steercos, record and monitor action plans.
• Project Alignment & Integration: Coordinate
  - functional projects to improve agility and efficiency, such as JIP at supplier, Recovery Plan, Quality Prevention Plans, NCs eradication, Ramp-up.
• Data & Performance Management: Collect, validate, and analyze procurement data, track key metrics and supplier performance.
• Executive Reporting: Create dashboards and reports for senior leadership, providing insights with relevant KPIs and visualizations.
• Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Identify inefficiencies and risks, recommend improvements, support audit and risk assessment outputs.

Skills and Competencies

• Experience in Supply Chain, Quality, VSM.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Ability to synthesize information for executive reporting and
  - making.
• Proficiency in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a multicultural environment and travel internationally if needed.
