Portfolio Analyst

Location: Lisbon, Westmon Lda, company specialized in wealth management

Westmon is a company specialized in consolidation and analysis of financial assets and is actively seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join a dynamic team of portfolio analysts.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall support for the monthly reporting
• Monitor performances, allocations and risks for all different investments
• Analysis and consolidation of financial data
• Process different controls to guarantee quality of service
• Implement transactions and reconciliations to follow clients’ portfolio using our proprietary software while using control tools to certify the consistency of each investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in Investment Banking or Private Banking and a very good understanding of different asset classes
• Interest in understanding financial markets
• Be familiar with the banking system
• Have general knowledge of financial / banking products
• Be able to work in a team and be an individual contributor as well
• Possess excellent analytical skills
• Be able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in using financial tools (Bloomberg a plus)
• Experience with MS Office software (confirmed Excel user)
• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
