Redbridge International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Portuguese Early Years Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Position: Portuguese Early Years Teacher

Start Date: immediate

Contract: Full-time

Requirements:

• Qualified to teach Pré-Escolar (Early Years) in accordance with Portuguese legal requirements (Ministry of Education).
• Proven experience working with young children (ages 3–5) in an early childhood education setting.
• Experience with or familiarity with the MEM approach (Movimento da Escola Moderna) will be considered a strong asset.
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English
• Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing, stimulating learning environment.
• Ability to collaborate with an international team and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging,
  - appropriate lessons in Portuguese
• Support children’s holistic development: academic, social, emotional, and physical.
• Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure consistency and quality of learning experiences.
• Maintain clear records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
• Contribute to school events and community activities.
