Redbridge International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Portuguese Early Years Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Position: Portuguese Early Years Teacher

Start Date: immediate

Contract: Full-time

Requirements:

Qualified to teach Pré-Escolar (Early Years) in accordance with Portuguese legal requirements (Ministry of Education).

Proven experience working with young children (ages 3–5) in an early childhood education setting.

Experience with or familiarity with the MEM approach (Movimento da Escola Moderna) will be considered a strong asset.

Fluency in both Portuguese and English

Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing, stimulating learning environment.

Ability to collaborate with an international team and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging,
- appropriate lessons in Portuguese

Support children’s holistic development: academic, social, emotional, and physical.

Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure consistency and quality of learning experiences.

Maintain clear records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.

Contribute to school events and community activities.
