Job Title: Portuguese Language Specialist – AI/LLM Training

Location: Remote (Part - time)

In this role, you will contribute directly to training and refining
- edge Gen
AI systems by leveraging your linguistic expertise and cultural insight. Your contributions will help ensure these systems understand and generate human language with accuracy, nuance, and cultural sensitivity making them more intelligent, inclusive, and useful for users across the globe.

Key responsibilities:

• Create
  - quality training datasets for AI models to enhance accuracy, fluency, coherence, and voice modulation.
• Annotate data to ensure AI model alignment with human values and intent.
• Review and refine grammar, syntax, and sentence structure in both
  - generated and AI-generated content to ensure adherence to linguistic standards.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams—including data scientists, researchers, and engineers—to iterate and improve model performance.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of specifications for AI training processes and data creation guidelines.
• Adapt to a
  - paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and flexible operational requirements.
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including daily job count, average handling time, and defined production hours.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field.
• Native or
  - native proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Mandatory C1 level or higher proficiency in English (based on the CEFR scale).
• Strong analytical and writing skills with keen attention to linguistic detail, including grammar, syntax, and semantics.
• Prior experience in content writing, language teaching, translation, localization, or linguistic annotation is preferred.
