Primary School Teacher (Portuguese Language of Instruction)

We are expanding our Primary School team and seeking a skilled Primary School Teacher who can teach in Portuguese across subjects, including language, literacy, mathematics, and other core areas.

Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher who has worked in a public or private primary school and is confident teaching the Portuguese national curriculum. The successful candidate will be able to teach Portuguese as a subject as well as deliver other primary school subjects in Portuguese. The teacher will work with both native and
- native Portuguese-speaking children, ensuring all students feel supported and challenged.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in Portuguese across multiple primary school subjects.
• Teach Portuguese language and literacy to native and
  - native speakers.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student body.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues on
  - curricular and bilingual projects.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and the school community.

Requirements

• Degree in Primary Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school (public or private).
• Strong knowledge of the Portuguese national curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Ability to teach both native and
  - native Portuguese speakers.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working in an international environment.
• Experience in bilingual or international schools.
• Familiarity with
  - based and
  - centered approaches.
• Ability to integrate digital tools into teaching.
