Hello! We're seeking an exceptional Principal Clinical Assay Development Scientist | IVD | Diagnostics to join our team and revolutionize personalized medicine.

About your Role

• Lead the identification, validation, and application of novel blood biomarkers for disease prediction, prognosis, and treatment stratification.
• Oversee the planning and execution of
  - scale clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
• Analyze and interpret data from biomarker discovery and validation studies, communicating findings effectively to diverse audiences.
• Provide scientific guidance on biomarker development, clinical study design, and regulatory requirements, especially related to photonics and AI-based diagnostics.
• Establish collaborations with academic institutions, industry experts, and clinical centers to support biomarker discovery and validation studies.

Technical Skills

• Master’s Degree in a relevant Life Sciences field (biology, medicine, biomedical engineering, molecular biology, etc. ) (Bonus: Ph
  D) + 3 years relevant experience in human blood biomarker development/validation.
• Extensive knowledge in blood biomarker discovery, validation, and clinical translation (Bonus: spectral or AI biomarkers).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical diagnostics (Bonus: FDA, CLIA, GCP standards).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation for biomarker studies.

Cultural Skills

• Excellent communication skills, effective collaboration, and ability to present complex scientific data to varied audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a
  - paced startup environment, demonstrating initiative and ownership.
• Passion for innovation, learning, and scientific integrity.

Bonus Skills

• Understanding of optics (spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR, etc. ) and AI (machine learning, deep learning).
• Experience in IVD blood assay development and successful startup experience.
