Your Impact

You will play a critical role in driving the strategy, architecture, design and implementation of diverse public cloud initiatives (AWS, Azure, GCP).

As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will manage a team to operate this platform and apps to service levels agreed with senior leadership. You’ll also lead relevant discussions with senior management (budgets, headcount, risks, service capabilities, etc. ).

You’ll manage third party technology relationships (application and product tooling suppliers, cloud platform providers, etc. ), maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

You’ll liaise with global technology leaders and teams to maintain consistency with wider Mc
Kinsey technology & experience. You’ll also liaise with Client Service Risk Committee and Risk teams to enable changes to policies and operating procedures.

In this role you’ll be responsible for building appropriate processes to enable consultants to work on both Europe and the global tech stack.

You will work with partners, consultants, operations leaders, global and local technology teams, technology vendors as a
- partner and leader in delivering technology platforms that support exception client service & internal operations within our Prague or Lisbon office.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT implementation and development
• 8+ years of technology planning and building strategic roadmaps
• Experience in Cloud infrastructure support and optimization strategies (AWS, Azure, Ali
  Cloud, etc. )
• Managing the IT budget for a depart servicing over 1000+ users
• Prior experience in tool selection and vendor management
• Experience in supporting one or more MMCs
• Experience in bridging communication across regions
• Strong capability in dealing with ambiguity, identifying options, permeating with path forward
• Highly collaborative, able to work with diverse teams in different functions and regions
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and engage senior leadership at the firm in an effective way
• Fluent communication skills in English
