The Role

As a Principal Devops Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping and evolving our core platform capabilities. You’ll take the lead in designing, building, and scaling foundational infrastructure that enables product teams to deliver software that is secure, scalable, and reliable. A key part of your role will be delivering
- service, reusable platform capabilities that abstract complexity, promote best practices and ensures security and compliance to accelerate product development—covering areas such as data services, deployment workflows, networking, and observability.

While remaining
- on, you’ll also provide technical leadership, define engineering standards, and influence architectural decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with
- functional teams to ensure platform features align with evolving product requirements, performance expectations, and security standards. Beyond your immediate team, you’ll have a broad influence across the organization—shaping platform strategy, guiding
- team engineering practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. In addition, you’ll mentor engineers and contribute directly to the design, implementation, and rollout of key platform components.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, building, and scaling core platform capabilities to support secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery across the organization.
• Developing
  - service, reusable infrastructure components—such as data services, deployment workflows, and observability tools—that reduce friction for product teams.
• Staying
  - on with system architecture, infrastructure automation, and
  - native technologies.
• Providing technical leadership by setting standards, driving design decisions, and fostering engineering best practices.
• Collaborating closely with product, security, and SRE teams to align platform solutions with evolving business and technical needs.
• Mentoring engineers across the organization, guiding them through complex challenges and architectural
  - offs.
• Driving continuous improvement across platform systems, tools, and processes.
• Influencing platform strategy and
  - team engineering direction to ensure consistency, scalability, and
  - term impact.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or Dev
  Ops roles, with a strong software development background.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and
  -
  - code principles.
• Proven ability to build scalable, secure, and resilient platform components that support a wide range of product use cases.
• Strong architectural and systems thinking, with a track record of making sound technical decisions at scale.
• Experience designing and delivering internal platform capabilities such as compute, data services, CI/CD tooling, and observability frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a history of partnering effectively across engineering, product, and operational teams.
• Ability to mentor and influence engineers at all levels, and to lead by example through
  - on contribution.
• A passion for building
