Are you prepared to craft the future of global network technology at Kantar? As Principal Engineering Manager – Network, you’ll play a crucial role crafting and delivering secure, agile, and
- performing network solutions that underpin our worldwide operations. Your expertise will directly empower Kantar’s
- driven mission and fuel innovation across every business unit.
You’ll lead the charge on network strategy, architecture, and transformation, collaborating with
- tier engineers and partners under the mentorship of our Senior Director of Engineering!
Job Goals
Complete a visionary global network strategy that aligns with Kantar’s ambitions for cloud integration, robust security, and brand new infrastructure.
Design and launch
- performance network solutions—spanning enterprise WAN, Azure cloud networking, and secure remote access—that keep our worldwide operations agile and resilient.
Drive operational excellence by coordinating network performance through trusted partners and managed services, ensuring maximum uptime and seamless business continuity.
Embed
- leading security practices into every layer of the network architecture, boosting protection and proactively addressing emerging threats.
Build positive partnerships with vendors and service providers, elevating service quality through clear targets, positive relationships, and a relentless focus on improvement.
Champion automation and smart network observability, collaborating with Dev
Ops and infrastructure teams to make our network
- ready and scalable.
Own network budgeting and optimisation, expertly forecasting needs, managing costs, and delivering strong value for Kantar’s investment.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Architect and deliver
- level networks: Deep
- on expertise in crafting, implementing, and optimising complex environments—spanning Azure cloud networking, SD-WAN, and resilient remote access solutions.
Emphasizing security: Demonstrated skill in implementing outstanding security strategies with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Prisma Access to protect against evolving risks.
Partner and vendor leadership: Skilled in building and managing relationships with service providers and external partners, driving excellence and continuous improvement in line with our strategic ambitions.
Agile collaboration and automation: Comfortable working in dynamic,
- functional teams with Dev
Ops, championing network automation, smart observability, and
- ready solutions.
Critical thinking with commercial competence: Capable of forecasting network needs, optimizing budgets, and delivering measurable value for global investments.
