Dellent is a consulting company focused on System Information and Telecommunications. In this project, you'll work with the European stock market sector and contribute to a leading global trading platform that prioritizes surveillance issues. Although our development center is in Porto and administrative support in Lisbon, you'll be part of a multicultural team across several European cities.

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to work in Porto (hybrid).

Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Principal Engineer in large and complex organizations.
• Expertise in Git, Clean Code, SOLID, Unit Testing, Domain Driven Design, Clean Architecture, REST, Open
  API, Event Driven Architecture.
• Preferred experience with Kafka, Java, Quarkus, Open
  Telemetry.
• Technical expertise in designing and implementing Monitoring and logging tools.
• Recognized expert in software component design and implementation.
• Experienced in making decisions on software architecture, coding standards, and technology adoption.
• Ability to communicate complex security and privacy concepts to business users.
• Strong leadership skills to influence and guide teams.

Responsibilities:

• Define and provide technical guidance and best practices for development teams.
• Collaborate with Architects to design and build applications and integrations.
• Partner with QA to define testing and automation tools, fostering CI/CD strategies.
• Develop test cases, procedures, and plans with QA.
• Support and guide development teams through the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Mentor and coach engineers, enhancing their technical and soft skills.
• Assess technology trends and promote adoption of best technologies.
• Review current applications and guide their evolution.
• Participate in projects to ensure timely and
  - compliant delivery aligned with business strategy.
