What’s the purpose of this role?

The Principal Solution Architect – SAP Dev will:

• Develop and communicate a clear technical vision and strategy for ABAP and HANA developments, aligning with organizational goals and fostering innovation.
• Lead and motivate internal and partner development teams, promoting a collaborative,
  - performance culture focused on SAP technologies.
• Maintain high standards in ABAP/HANA development, utilizing best practices and advanced techniques.
• Mentor team members, supporting their professional growth in ABAP/HANA skills.
• Make technical decisions ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and technologies related to ABAP and HANA.

What is needed to succeed in this role?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and systems design.
• Extensive SAP experience (8-10 years), including
  - on ABAP and HANA development.
• Proven leadership in technical teams and driving technical excellence.
• Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Expertise in SAP system integration using technologies like BAPI, RFC, ALE/IDOC, and web services.
• Strong skills in performance tuning for ABAP and HANA.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex SAP technical issues.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD and their integration points.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and documentation.
• Commitment to continuous learning of SAP technologies and best practices.
