About The Job

The Portugal Private Credit Center of Excellence (PCCOE) is part of the Loan Solutions team within the Alternative Investors (AI) client line, collaborating closely with Private Capital teams. The team delivers product and solutions to asset manager and asset owner clients investing in Private Credit (corporate loans), Infrastructure Debt, and Real Estate Debt, focusing on services for General Partners, direct loans, and syndicated loans.

Core services include Loan Administration, Middle Office, Depositary Functions (recork keeping, cash processing), and Loan Trade Closing. The team also supports Asset Owners, traditional Asset Managers, and the BNPP CIB Global Markets segment. The Officer’s mission is to ensure high‑quality service delivery, risk and quality awareness, and adherence to procedures and SLAs.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Process activities following operational procedures, ensuring SLA compliance and performing tasks per work allocation.
  • Execute controls according to procedures and risk mapping (checklists, 4‑eyes checks, etc. ).
  • Analyse and integrate data in systems, ensuring reliability by comparing sources.
  • Manage queries, prioritise requests, and forward to relevant departments.
  • Escalate unresolved queries and incidents.
  • Extract reports, gather information to support decision processes and oversight duties.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by timely response and adherence to norms and standards.
  • Attend training sessions, contribute to onboarding of newcomers.
  • Share continuous improvement projects and contribute to their implementation.
  • Support a good team atmosphere and follow the Group’s code of conduct (Smart Working Policy, Mandatory Trainings).

Profile And Skills To Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations.
  • Fluent English (C1‑C2 level).
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and rigorousness.
  • Client‑focused orientation.
  • Organisational and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Results‑driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Office suite (Excel, Power
    Point, Word).
