The Role:

As Process Design Engineer, you will work as part of a
- disciplinary engineering team to bring water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept stage through to Construction, Commissioning, and into Operations. You will develop engineering design solutions to meet the Client’s needs, following these through to process commissioning to ensure successful project outcomes.

You will work in a collaborative,
- oriented culture while actively contributing to your own skills and experience. Your primary focus will be Process Design, but due to the multidisciplinary nature of Glanua's work, you will also be exposed to Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA), civil engineering, and building disciplines, offering a broad knowledge base and career development opportunities. You will work remotely with teams based in Ireland and/or UK offices and will need to work independently.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to deliver multiple projects, fostering a “one team” culture.
• Incorporate Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards into design solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders including clients, representatives, and
  - party agencies.
• Travel occasionally to Irish and UK sites as required.
• Ensure a positive client experience through collaboration and professionalism.
• Understand and interpret Client Specifications thoroughly.
• Develop design options based on project briefs and present them to the Design Manager and teams.
• Coordinate with discipline leads and design managers to meet deadlines.
• Review project briefs and clarify scope and objectives.
• Perform process and hydraulic design calculations for water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Prepare process system specifications, equipment selection, and supporting schedules.
• Develop technical proposals and drawings for contractors, maintaining quality standards.
• Create process control philosophies to ensure automation aligns with design intent.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely completion and reporting progress to the Design Manager.
