Warner is looking for a Process Quality Engineer to join its new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and coordinate the resolution of complex issues using the 8D methodology, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data and
  - conformities to detect patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions.
• Develop and implement action plans to prevent recurrence and promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
• Train and guide production teams on problem‑solving techniques and quality practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external parties to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Perform duties on assigned special projects as needed.
• Comply with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene, and environmental prevention standards and company regulations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• Minimum 3 years in quality roles focusing on problem‑solving and tools like 8D (preferential).
• Strong knowledge of 8D and other root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or electronics sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Shainin Red X or 6 Sigma (plus).
• Results‑oriented, interpersonal communication, team spirit.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
