We are seeking a Source to Settle (STS) Associate Specialist to join our Lisbon office to deliver and manage end‑to‑end St
S processes. The role supports our global BPO partner that executes St
S transactional services for Organon in the region.
Job Description
The Associate Specialist will support and back up selected St
S process areas in invoice processing. Responsibilities include ensuring all St
S transactions comply with accounting standards, policies, SOX and statutory requirements. You will provide input to the global process owner group for operational opportunities in process and control design, vendor experience, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Deliver services in accordance with agreed Service Level, Controls and Governance.
- Manage process risk by adhering to policies and internal controls, ensuring SOX controls are executed timely and accurately.
- Bring a process improvement focus, supporting implementation of best practices and project management discipline.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support successful audit results and compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Support training, accuracy, and timely delivery of work outputs.
- Engage with process owners and colleagues to identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed process and internal control documentation such as global SOPs and Regional Work Instructions.
- Provide consultative support to outsourcing partners (Genpact) and resolve issues timely.
- Resolve escalated queries in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally within the company/vendors to resolve process and technical issues across Athena and other STS systems.
Support Internal Stakeholders
- Participate in process change and improvements.
- Deliver world‑class service experience for vendors, employees, and stakeholders.

- Perform a variety of responsibilities within the Source to Settle tower as requested.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Education & Experience
- Fluent in Hebrew – mandatory.
- Fluent in English is a distinct advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance or accounting at a multinational company preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
- Experience with SAP and accounting processes valued.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and support continuous improvement projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
