Key responsibilities
- Draft new standard procurement contracts incorporating all relevant requirements (economic, commercial, technological, legal, risk management).
- Revise, optimize, and further develop existing standard procurement contracts.
- Prepare for negotiations; draft and execute negotiations of contracts alongside procurement commodity buyers.
- Develop existing contractual documents: prepare, draft, and negotiate complex contract amendments and settlement agreements during the contract lifecycle with procurement buyers.
- Sign the contract validation form summarizing key elements, deviations, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze agreements during contract administration and in potential dispute situations with suppliers.
- Provide specialized support in contract analysis, drafting, design, and negotiations for functions other than Procurement (excluding aircraft sales contracts).
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual implications of internal projects (e. g. , confidentiality, intellectual property).
- Develop and enhance Procurement Academy trainings; coach and train junior buyers in contracts and negotiations.
Required skills and qualifications
- Degree or higher in Business, Legal, Economics, Engineering.
- Ideally 2 years of procurement experience.
- Experience in establishing and negotiating contracts is desirable.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Mandatory fluency in English; fluency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
