To strengthen our Procurement team, we are looking for a

Procurement Excellence Controller

Responsibilities:

• Support category management in a ‘consultant role’ for tactical sourcing processes such as demand specification, Rf
  X negotiations, contracting, contract management and supplier exit.
• Ensure and drive collaboration with SYNLAB countries and functional departments in terms of reporting and control.
• Responsibility for PRR reporting, monitoring of bonus schemes and other relevant contract clauses.
• Monitoring, control and implementation of supplier risk management measures.
• Develop and drive collaboration with category management and provide guidance on reporting and control of tactical sourcing processes.
• Responsibility and sparring partner for category management in determining product suitability, especially within the direct categories, including PRR.
• Developing and managing the controlling of procurement activities to measure the success of overarching procurement results.
• Analysing, determining and submitting procurement spend reports and maintaining the KPI engine.
• Work closely with Finance and Controlling to align calculations for cost savings initiatives.
• Preparing reports, studies and other relevant documents on procurement topics.

Qualifications:

• Degree or comparable qualification in economics, supply chain management or a related field.
• Several years of experience in category management, preferably in an international company structure.
• Sound knowledge of tactical procurement processes and contract management.
• Broad methodological knowledge, especially in controlling
• Experience in supplier risk management and liaising with various departments.
• Very good analytical skills and experience in creating and analysing reports.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
• Independent working style and high level of personal responsibility.
