A leading multinational group in the industrial sector is looking to hire a Procurement Lead to lead its team in Portugal.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement team, defining and implementing purchasing and sourcing strategies.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with national and international suppliers, ensuring quality, costs and deadlines.
• Conduct negotiation and contract processes, ensuring competitiveness and continuity of supply.
• Implement sustainable and responsible sourcing practices.
• Work in collaboration with
  - functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, etc. ).
• Implement initiatives for continuous improvement, cost reduction and cash flow optimisation.

Ideal Profile:

• 10 years' experience in procurement/sourcing or supply chain;
• Degree in Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar areas;
• Solid knowledge of the national and international supplier market;
• Resilient profile, with strong
  - making skills, persistence, focus on continuous improvement and ambition for growth.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (mandatory).
