Your Mission

The role of the Ariba Procurement Specialist is to ensure the correctness of all Purchase Requisitions (PR) before approval and submission of Purchase Orders (PO) for Indirect Materials.

As part of the approval flow for Purchase Requisitions in Ariba Buying, the Ariba Procurement Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct all quality checks to ensure that Purchase requisitions include the correct information to perform a PR-PO conversion and allow for a correct invoice posting
• Lead a team of 2 people
• Act as an interface between Requestors, Indirect Procurement, and Accounting to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the process
• Ensure alignment and compliance with Beyond Gravity guidelines, requirements, and working instructions
• Ensure timely execution of Procurement check requests
• Monitor the timely delivery of missing information/documents to ensure timely approval and conversion of Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders in Ariba/SAP
• Manage order confirmations and track goods and invoice receipt
• Work within your team and with other teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities

Your Story

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related function, ideally within a digital, technology, or
  - focused environment
• Familiarity with Ariba or other
  - procurement software (e. g. , Coupa, i
  Valua) and ERP systems (e. g. , SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and procurement metrics
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and digital procurement innovations
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Results-oriented and assertive mindset
• Proactive,
  - taking, and
  - seeking mentality
• Team player
• Open-minded, strong communicator and networker, willing to involve others and share information
