Responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiations with vendors to achieve the best commercial and
- mitigated outcomes - Support the development of procurement frameworks and templates such as vendor onboarding checklists and contract risk matrices for use across the business
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives across multiple categories by identifying and executing savings opportunities
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity to embed procurement risk management into enterprise policies and vendor selection
- Support the rollout of procurement systems, including ERP purchase order processes and
- party risk management tools, and act as system owner
Requirements
- Operate independently to lead negotiations and support the design of procurement frameworks
- Work with the Senior Procurement Specialist on setting priorities and support advice given to senior management on sourcing strategies
- Represent Paymentology in negotiations and influence procurement outcomes across the company
- Solve ambiguous and strategic procurement problems such as
- layered contract risk, regional compliance obligations, and complex pricing models - Help design scalable procurement policies and frameworks that balance commercial optimisation with regulatory, financial, and operational risk
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams and support the shaping of the global procurement policy
- Build strong supplier partnerships to secure strategic advantage
Education and Experience
- 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in Saa
S/technology procurement - Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and supporting the implementation of vendor performance frameworks
- Track record of delivering significant cost savings and shaping procurement processes
- Knowledge of ERP systems, procurement automation tools, and vendor risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement; CIPS or equivalent professional certification preferred
