THE ROLE
We’re looking for a
- driven,
- oriented Procurement Trainee to join our Procurement team and help drive smarter, faster, and more
- effective decisions around our vehicle sourcing strategy. Reporting directly to the Global Procurement Director, you’ll play a key role in supporting our fleet expansion and operational readiness by ensuring procurement decisions are aligned with cost targets, supplier timelines, and
- fleet schedules.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams across operations, fleet planning, and finance, as well as interface with external vehicle suppliers. Your insights will directly impact how we scale our fleet, meet demand across multiple regions, and reduce delays in getting vehicles
- ready.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Track and report on procurement performance vs. target cost and identify cost variances by supplier, region, or season.
- Monitor and improve procurement attainment rates — ensuring that the number of vehicles ordered and received aligns with business targets and timelines.
- Analyze root causes of
- fleet delays related to procurement, and propose corrective actions or supplier management improvements. - Maintain and update procurement dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to the Procurement Director and
- functional stakeholders. - Support the purchase order process, including vendor communications, PO tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
- Assist in vendor evaluation, performance tracking, and supplier negotiations.
- Collaborate with fleet, finance, and logistics teams to anticipate sourcing needs and ensure accurate vehicle forecasting.
- Recommend procurement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, or supplier accountability.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field;
- Up to 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the automotive industry;
- Strong analytical and
- solving skills with the ability to support procurement KPIs and
- making processes; - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners;
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment;
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) is essential.
