Adecco is hiring a Product & Body Builder Consultant for Europe, based in Lisbon, Portugal. The role supports Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) Japan in managing commercial vehicle lines, requiring strong technical expertise and coordination across functions. The consultant will work closely with MFTBC Japan to ensure successful vehicle‑body integration and compliance with European market standards, and will be involved in strategic planning, product development, and lifecycle management within the commercial vehicle industry.

What you will Do

• Support MFTBC Japan in developing product roadmaps and strategies for commercial vehicles.
• Organise market research and competitive benchmarking for product opportunities.
• Propose product specifications and support engineering teams in new product development.
• Monitor product KPIs and propose updates and improvements for MFTBC Japan.
• Build and maintain relationships with certified body builders across regions.

Your Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business.
• Five years of experience in product management or application engineering in the commercial vehicle industry.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle platforms and applications.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel for market visits and body‑builder coordination.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Japanese or other European languages is advantageous.
