Our mobile games have hundreds of millions of downloads worldwide, and some exciting new titles are coming soon. We seek a talented professional who thrives at the intersection of Product Analytics and Game Economy, engaging in
- driven
- making and product analysis to enhance the gaming economy and support our Ilyon Gaming Studio. You will create fun and engaging game experiences while maximizing player retention and revenues. You will be a crucial part of the analytics team, collaborating closely with the development, data, and product teams. Full-time position (Hybrid) in our offices in Lisbon.

What will you be doing?

• Utilize quantitative analysis and data presentation to understand user interactions and enhance the game economy.
• Track Daily KPIs, trends, and user behavior to optimize game economy dynamics.
• Identify growth opportunities to improve feature adoption, retention, engagement, and monetization strategies.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance player experience and game economy.
• Understand gameplay loops and how players interact with them.
• Tune the performance of existing features by devising A/B tests and analyzing their effectiveness.
• Adjust sinks/sources to maximize engagement, retention, and revenue.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of analytical work experience, preferably as a Game economist in the gaming industry.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant degree.
• Proficient knowledge of SQL and excellent skills in Excel - a must!
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
• High level of analytical and
  - solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptable
  - starter with strong communication skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with big data tools and analytics suites (e. G. , Google Analytics, Google Firebase, Big
  Query, Snowflake, Unity Analytics, delta
  DNA).
• Experience with scripting language tools - Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience in the game industry.
• Previous experience working closely with game developers, ideally inside a team.
